Who we are

The Mexicali Business Coordinating Council (Consejo Coordinador Empresarial de Mexicali, or Mexicali CCE) is the highest representative body of the local private sector, bringing together the 14 most important business organizations in the city.

We actively participate in promoting investment in national and international forums, coordinating the relationships of the business community with different sectors of society, and sustainably promoting the most important investment initiatives for Mexicali and its Valley.

Mexicali CCE represents talent, discipline, and the pursuit of investment in Mexicali.

The Mexicali CCE was created to be a representative of local businesses, seeking to defend the interests of the chambers affiliated with this organization.

It has historically been an important actor in the relationship between the business community and other sectors of society. It cooperates in the development and promotion of the local economy, bringing together the resources and influence of the chambers that participate in it.

The Mexicali CCE actively participates in the development of businesses opportunities in national and international forums, relying on the relationships with different sectors to achieve success in specific projects.

A Message from our President
Luis Manuel Elizondo

Born and raised in Mexicali, the president of the Mexicali CCE has a B.A. in architecture from ITESO. He holds master’s degrees in administration and marketing from CETYS University and has extensively collaborated in the housing sector at both local and national levels. He is currently a founding partner and general director of SPINM Professional Real Estate Services. He is also a former president of the National Chamber of the Housing Development and Promotion Industry (CANADEVI) Mexicali chapter.

Mexicali:
Total Nearshoring Solution

In recent years, the Nearshoring phenomenon has gained popularity in North America, particularly in Mexico and Baja California.

This northernmost state, with its strategic location on the border between Mexico and the U.S., has become a significant manufacturing and export hub, leveraging its supplier base and skilled talent.

Mexicali, with its industrial vocation and readily available resources, is well-positioned to attract investment and become a development center based on Nearshoring.

We envision a city-wide project that allows us to integrate all the different public and private participants into a single concept and purpose in order to take advantage of this global phenomenon.
